Squish #1: Super Amoeba

Squish is an amoeba with two best friends named Pod, an amoeba nerd who wears a bow-tie, and Peggy, a paramecium who is overly happy all the time. Squish's main problems in life are that he can't seem to make it to school on time and the school bully, Lynwood, wants to eat him. Then he's faced with the dilemma of saving Peggy from being eaten by Lynwood. Will Squish be able to stand up to Lynwood once and for all?

I thought this was cute for younger kids who enjoy graphic novels and comic books. It's silly and kids will get a laugh out of the funny antics of Squish and his friends. The illustrations are simple green, black, and white and seem to add to the overall comic book presentation.
